Location is Cincinnati OH
Summary you will provide accurate information primarily financial in nature to assist management and other users in making educated decision about the company’s future.
Responsibilities will include
- Prepare monthly financial statements accurately and promptly.
- Educate and provide financial information to management and operations for decision-making and goal achievement.
- Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
- Lead company-wide projects and contribute to the leadership team.
- Handle journal entries and monitor capital projects.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and participate in insurance renewal.
- Ensure compliance with local/state reporting and tax filings.
- Recommend internal controls and accounting policies for asset protection and financial accuracy.
- Play a key role in ERP system implementation.
- Assist in forecasting and managing audits by internal/external auditors.
- Oversee record retention efforts.
- BS in Accounting or Finance
- 8 years of work experience in an accounting function with at least 3 of those years in a supervisory position
- Experience working with an ERP system and accounting software
- Working knowledge of GAAP/FASB and Federal, State and Local income, payroll and other taxes
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office
