Scientific Search has partnered with a late-stage cell therapy company that has tasked them in finding a Contracts Manager who will work with multiple cross-functional teams to draft, review, revise and analyze contracts and budgets for vendors, consultants, and investigative sites. The role will also implement systems to ensure accurate tracking and recordkeeping regarding the fulfillment of contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal business groups working with outside vendor companies to determine need for and scope of potential contracts.
- Draft appropriate contracts and amendments.
- Interpret contract provisions critically.
- Negotiate contract terms with outside vendors, consultants, and study sites.
- Investigate and resolve or refer, as appropriate, contract disputes/complaints.
- Maintain central repository of all existing contracts and associated documentation.
- Develop and maintain standard service contracts for routine services.
- Bachelors’ degree or higher in a related subject and a minimum of 3 years prior experience in business development, finance or contract administration role, preferably in pharmaceutical/biotechnology RD.
- Experience of working in a GXP regulated environment.
- Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office automation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in complex environment is essential.
