Scientific Search client an innovator in high-performance power modules & power solutions has an immediate need for a Senior Yield Enhancement Engineer. This is a full-time direct hire position with a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities
- Work with manufacturing engineering and operations to create protocols for production teams to follow that result in high-quality products.
- Implement effective quality controls, teach production staff how to use them and supervise outcomes.
- Create and implement quality control workflows to improve the efficiency of the quality assurance process.
- Collect data about instances of product errors and investigate possible solutions by troubleshooting the manufacturing or design process.
- Apply good theoretical knowledge of electronics manufacturing engineering principles to identify issues which could or will impact product quality.
- Manage detailed problem-solving process including but not limited to trend and root cause analysis, containment, corrective and preventive action using classic Six Sigma problem solving techniques
- Analyze/modify current product processes and implement improvements. Perform a variety of complex engineering tasks to improve the reliability and manufacturability of company products.
- Key driver and contributor to factory process improvement using measured metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline
- 5 years related experience
- Good to strong knowledge of high-volume electronics manufacturing processes
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good technical analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methods, tools and quality manufacturing processes
- Attention to detail
- Analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle an ever-changing environment.
