Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer for our client, a wonderful MEP Engineering organization in Arlington, VA! In this role, you’ll utilize your expertise in electrical design in a commercial setting for a range of area clients! This is a full time, direct hire, hybrid role.

• Compensation range is $130-175k, depending on experience

What you will be doing:

• Electrical design for commercial building projects that fall within building, energy, electrical codes and NFPA Standards
• Oversee design process and projects including coordination of utilities and design for power distribution, fire alarms, standby systems, and lighting systems
• Create necessary construction documentation
• Develop, lead and manage a team of engineers and designers

What you will need:

• 10-15 years experience in Electrical Design
• BS from a ABET accredited program is preferred; or equivalent experience
• Experience leading or managing engineering teams
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit is preferred
• PE or LEED is a plus
