SCION Technologies, a new chemical manufacturing facility located in Pasadena ( Bayport ), is currently looking to hire LEAD PROCESS TECHNICIANS to provide direct operations capabilities including DCS control of a multiple unit operation process with daily and routine operations of high pressure reaction and distillation systems. Typical duties include charging, heating and cooling, sampling and simple analytical methods, filtering and clean out of the process equipment. Additional duties may include process line ups for the equipment to provide accurate transfer of products, raw materials, waste streams or other utilities, loading and unloading trucks and rail cars, and other tasks as needed. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years operations experience in a chemical manufacturing environment with DCS experience. The ability to work independently within a structured organization and having strong communication skills is required.
