In addition to a competitive market-based salary, Sciton provides an opportunity to participate in equity/stock incentive programs, a profit-sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K with matching.
Job SummaryShift: The shift is from 8 AM to 5 PM (PST). Traveling: The TSE would only travel during the training period, and shadow the Field Service Engineers on service calls.
In This Role, You Will
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolve Customer Service related queries through phone, chat and web tickets in accordance with Sciton policies and procedures
  • Install, service and maintain complex medical laser systems
  • Travel to perform Field Service when needed
  • Submit estimates, place parts orders and schedule services as needed
  • Create various types of reports for the Service, R&D and Engineering departments
  • Interact with Engineering and Manufacturing departments to provide solutions to customers.
  • Keep all the moving parts running smoothly by confirming and completing work order information, including insurance verification, additional parts and missing information
  • Professionally screen incoming customer calls, assist with ticket creation, verify entitlement and route customers to the appropriate team within the Customer Service & Support organization
  • De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, offering assistance with a calm demeanor and support
  • Develop a good understanding of all Sciton products, contracts and licensing
  • Participate in the creation and improvement of Sciton Customer policies, procedures and guidelines relating to Customer Service
  • Deliver the best quality in order to achieve high level of Customer Satisfaction
  • Develop good and respected relationships with internal and external customers by providing accurate, courteous and efficient service & support
  • Work with other staff in the department to meet the performance targets for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, productivity and quality that are above the average in the industry
  • Attend and participate in meetings that may include overseeing a project, offer ideas and suggestions to improve programs and customer service
  • Identifying recurring problems that result in customer service issues, and work with other team members to determine the root cause and potential solutions
Essential Requirements For The Role
  • Electronics or Mechanical Engineering degree
  • Technically oriented with hands-on technical experience preferred
  • Familiarity with computers, Word, and Excel
  • Continually develop positive relations within the Sales and Service Team
  • Build company and product knowledge.
  • Develop, exercise, and maintain excellent customer relations skills.
  • Working knowledge of customer needs in a medical environment.
  • Understand product alignment and certification to specification.
  • Demonstrate familiarization with basic Laser technology and applications.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ensure high output level and be able to multi-task.
