SCOOTER'S COFFEE is Hiring a Project Manager Near Omaha, NE

Location

This position is considered Office-First. An office-first employee is an employee within the Greater Omaha Metropolitan Area whose default work location is a designated office and has office presence at least four days per week, specifically, Monday through Thursday. An office-first employee may at times perform work outside of a designated office location based on personal or professional need, at the discretion of their supervisor. This role may be performed with flexible working arrangements, including a mix of work from home and in-office work. Scooter’s Coffee is headquartered in Omaha, NE. The successful candidate lives in Omaha, NE. Relocation is not available for this role.

Description

Reporting to the Vice President, Strategy & Insights, the Project Manager position offers a unique opportunity to manage a portfolio of projects for our rapidly growing organization. Projects will be focused on menu innovation and this role will partner closely with our menu team. Specific areas of responsibility include ownership of the complete life cycle of projects from concept to implementation. The Project Manager will coordinate and complete projects on time within budget and within scope. This role is accountable for the oversight of all aspects of projects, including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, stakeholder communication, driving consensus and monitoring progress of project. The Project Manager will prepare reports and provide updates for stakeholders regarding status of each project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with all stakeholders, including cross-functional team members.
  • Performs core project management duties including guiding projects through formal stage gates, developing project plans, creating resourcing plans, and establishing communication plans.
  • Work directly with the project team and company leaders to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
  • Create and execute end-to-end project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Proactively communicate project details across multiple departments in a clear and concise manner.
  • Drive consensus with stakeholders using collaborative facilitation methods.
  • Coordinate project activities between team members, while maximizing their productivity to achieve project goals.
  • Build internal and external business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
  • Identify, evaluate and minimize risks throughout the project life cycle.
  • Create and maintain all project documentation pertinent to the project, including but not limited to, status reports, work plans, presentations.
  • Understand team dynamics and adapt project management methodology as needed to ensure project success.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for change.
  • Assist in developing organizational processes and project management best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience of managing projects across cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical skills and proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in creating and establishing process that involve multiple teams.
  • Collaborate at all levels, working with team members, senior management, and business owners to move projects forward.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Well organized, capable of multitasking, and managing time well.
  • CAPM or PMP certification is preferred.
