SCOPE Recruiting is Hiring a Procurement Program Manager- Special Projects Near Atlanta, GA

Essential Job Functions:
  • Performance Management: Implement performance management processes, ensuring KPIs are executed and dashboards are updated in line with project execution. Proven experience in a matrix organization and managing senior stakeholders globally is essential
  • Team Leadership: Lead a high-performance team, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and present executive summaries to senior leadership and business unit teams
  • Project Oversight: Supervise and advise on the development of solid business cases, monitor and drive project timelines, deliverables, budgets, quality, and critical activities to ensure they meet expectations and forecasts
  • Collaboration: Work alongside the PSM team to meet project deadlines. Lead the Procurement & Supply Chain Programs Management Office (PMO), coordinating and prioritizing major capabilities scoping and development in close relationship with Strategic Sourcing, Center of Excellence, and Field/Corporate Procurement
  • Digital Transformation: Influence the digital transformation of procurement and supply chain planning tools and processes, focusing on cross-functional collaboration, process simplification, and continuous strategic focus on customer satisfaction
  • Strategic Partner: Act as a sparring partner to the PSM Team, supporting optimal business decisions to enhance financial impact and business control structure
  • Vision Implementation: Facilitate and collaborate across the PSM senior leadership team to develop and implement the vision and key actions related to the procurement strategy
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive organizational capability to implement continuous improvement, crystallize, implement, and deliver strategies into actionable projects
  • Performance Improvement: Identify performance gaps and opportunities, develop new strategies and initiatives to close the gaps, and seek external solutions to complex problems
  • PMO Activities: Create and drive PMO activities in savings, business processes, and procurement tools. Conduct savings cost analysis and work with the Finance team for project cost analysis. Support change management and chair governance meetings
  • Global Project Management: Manage a large number of projects globally, prioritize tasks efficiently, and communicate complex matters effectively across all business levels
  • Procurement Governance: Maximize the effective use of procurement tools and implement a procurement governance model. Establish and communicate policies and procedures for standardization and efficiency of all purchases
  • KPI Management: Be responsible for the PSM scorecard, gather, model, and report KPIs while ensuring progress on KPIs with the three PSM pillars
  • Budgeting and Support: Perform procurement-related budgeting and support presentations to the Leadership Team
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's/MBA preferred
  • Six Sigma Black Belt and strong analytical, data-driven thinking with project management experience
  • Certifications in Project Management and Change Management required
  • Expert understanding of purchasing policies, procedures, practices, and the value and use of procure-to-pay (P2P) digital platforms
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio), SAP, Oracle, and Ariba
  • Deep understanding of multi-step strategic sourcing processes and strategies
  • Demonstrated excellence in managing internal customers, skilled at change management, and adept at stakeholder management
  • 15 years of experience in strategic sourcing, centers of excellence, and procurement operations
  • Experience with ERP systems, Spend Data Analytics & Reporting, eSourcing, and contract management systems
  • Proven experience in project management and PMO, identifying and driving change and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Strong influencing skills to persuade others in pursuit of a common goal
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills to build and maintain trusted relationships with leadership and peers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present complex information to senior executives
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, and proactive individual with the ability to think strategically and develop future state strategies
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand challenges from the perspective of business leaders
  • Transformational leader with demonstrated experience in the elevator industry or similar field
  • Agile and strategic leader with proven results and the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions using facts and data to influence decisions
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency to deliver results
  • Proven track record in leading procurement organizations and transformations
  • Experience in the OEM elevator industry or similar business preferred
