PurposeThe Corporate Equity Derivatives team within the Equity Derivatives Division is responsible for originating, pricing, trading, and selling both vanilla and complex equity derivative products for corporate clients of the firm. Products range from vanilla options to more complex exotic payoffs. We are looking for a candidate that has strong client relationships and can identify and monetize opportunities to grow the business. The ideal candidate will have experience within corporate equity derivatives sales and origination (market knowledge, client relationships, idea generation, etc.) with an ability to add value to our corporate clients and contribute to the overall success of the Corporate Equity Derivatives business.
What You’ll Do
  • Partner with ECM, Corporate and Investment Banking to pitch structured derivative solutions to the Bank’s clients
  • Communicate well to build strong relationships, deepening existing relationships and developing new ones
  • Collaborating with members of the Global Capital Markets team on idea generation and building client relationships.
  • Innovative in engaging each client to cater to their specific needs and aiming to provide a consistent positive experience for all clients
  • Driving forward new technology and infrastructure projects with IT and financial engineers.
  • Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures
  • Ensures all risks are contained within the approved limits outlined in the Desk’s LCS.
  • Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum 8 years work experience trading corporate derivatives.
  • Extensive knowledge of global capital markets.
  • Extensive knowledge of the U.S. Corporate Derivative market including the ability to pitch all structures and originate new opportunities for the team.
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging and collaborative working environment.
  • Fully licensed and registered; minimum SIE, Series 7, and 63.
  • Strong team player, making ongoing risk management decisions within the context of group collaboration.
  • Strong communication, business development and relationship management skills.
