Job Description
Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced executive to lead this b-corp traffic control company through a successful transition following recent ownership changes. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities, a proven track record in turnaround strategies, and an understanding of construction is preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Strategy: Provide visionary leadership to drive the company towards sustained growth and profitability. Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Ownership Transition: Spearhead the transition process following recent ownership changes. Effectively communicate changes, manage stakeholders' expectations, and ensure a smooth transition for employees and operations.
  • Operational Evaluation: Evaluate current staff, operational processes, and organizational structure to identify areas for optimization and efficiency improvements. Make data-driven decisions regarding staffing adjustments and resource allocation.
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, budgets, and expenditures. Implement cost-effective measures while maintaining quality standards and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Employee Development: Foster a positive work culture, promote professional growth, and mentor leadership talent within the organization. Inspire and motivate teams towards achieving company objectives.
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a CEO or in a senior executive role, preferably within the road construction or traffic control industry.
  • Demonstrated success in leading company turnarounds, driving operational efficiency, and managing large teams (100-150 employees).
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders, clients, and diverse teams.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
