About the Company

Nationally known General Contractor currently in growth mode with a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects. Actively seeking Senior Superintendents (National Travel, regional travel, and locally based opportunities) to lead Commercial Construction Projects in the following Verticals: Office Construction, Multifamly, Education, Hospitality, and Healthcare/Life Science Verticals.

Job Description

The Senior Superintendent will have overall responsibility for an assigned construction project and will provide overall leadership for onsite field supervision of all construction operations including coordination and execution of work on time and within budget, scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implement all safety policies and quality programs, ensuring strong performance on safety audits.
  • Manage the activities of subcontractors, vendors and labor, maintaining strict control over the accuracy and quality for each work activity.
  • Plan look-ahead schedules, maintain project schedule controls.
  • Identify and report problems or deficiencies to the Director / project executives.
  • Document on-site activities that may impede progress or compliance to project/contract requirements.
  • Creates change orders to execution.
  • Miscellaneous purchases.
  • Review subcontract agreements.
  • Maintain strict control over the budget for each work activity.
  • Coordinate receipt of and inventory of all owner supplied materials.
  • Assist in preparation of project status report and provide complete daily reports to the Project Manager.

General Background and Minimum Requirements

  • Verticals include but are not limited to healthcare, hospitality, education, and manufacturing construction projects.
  • A thorough understanding of and ability to maintain a current, complete set of project documents, blueprints, revisions, specifications, and related items.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing site activity, anticipating and resolving field-related issues, establishing and enforcing site schedule
  • General computer skills, willingness to expand the use of new technologies for scheduling and reports.
  • Experience with Procore and Microsoft Projects are preferred.
  • Willing to travel nationally in support of project pipeline.

Ideal Candidate

  • Projects led should include the Ground up new construction or New Construction scopes of work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
