Our client is a general contractor with a presence throughout the United States in ground up multifamily AND tilt-up big box projects ranging from $15M - $150M in value. They are looking for Superintendents to step into a number of open roles! Multifamily Superintendents may be brought on for local-only roles, while tilt-up/big box Superintendents may be required to travel in the future (TX, NM).

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Superintendent will have overall construction responsibilities for a large ground-up multifamily project valued at $15M OR Big Box/Tilt Wall projects $20M .

Select Responsibilities:

• Review the Building Specification to confirm material, subcontractor, and equipment criteria and identify potential project document conflict
• Maintain project plans, communication, correspondence and subcontracts
• Review, coordinate and implement the safety measures and applicable company programs for the project required to conform with OSHA standards and to ensure a safe workplace
• Monitor project labor productivity and material quantity requirements
• Completely review, coordinate, and implement the quality assurance program developed for the project
• Review project punch list and oversee completion of all project disciplines necessary to receive a certificate of occupancy

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

• At least five (5) years of experience, specifically on multifamily ground up and/or tilt wall warehouses valued in excess of $15MIL
• Local experience preferred but the client will relocate candidate with strong multifamily garden-style or podium project experience OR tilt wall experience
• Knowledge of field supervision and quality control of all phases of construction along with the ability to manage/develop field engineers and assistant superintendents
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to professionally interact with variety of clients, vendors and city/building officials

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
