Scott Humphrey has partnered with a leading provider of custom signage solutions in Houston, TX.

They are looking for a skilled and experienced Fabricator with a strong background in custom signage to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of custom signs, ensuring they meet quality standards and client specifications. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble custom signs using various materials including metals, plastics, wood, and vinyl.
• Operate machinery and tools such as CNC routers, laser cutters, welding equipment, and hand tools to create signage components.
• Interpret and execute designs and blueprints provided by the design team.
• Ensure all signs are constructed to meet safety standards and client specifications.
• Perform quality checks on completed signs to ensure accuracy and durability.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication process.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in custom signage fabrication, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
• Proficiency in operating fabrication machinery and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to relocate to Houston, TX (relocation assistance provided).
