What Is E-Verify?
E-Verify is an Internet-based system that compares information entered by an employer from an employee's Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, to records available to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration to confirm employment eligibility.
E-Verify is administered by SSA and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
•Works primarily with other assemblers and is responsible for consistently meeting quality and production standards.
•May assist sheet metal, grinding, and welding work crews as needed.
•Operates forklift to move pallets and cabinets.
•Assembles capacitor racks.
•Installs oil switches, copper fuse holders, insulation, mountings, porcelain, links, and louver covers.
•Drills and installs plastic fittings.
•Builds transformer brackets.
•Verifies correct clearances and hole diameters given blueprints.
•Operates air sander to deburr door handles.
•Operates mini-punches, grinders, band saws, impact wrenches, ratchets, and small hand tools.
•Makes up small hardware parts.
•Cleans and maintains work area.

Qualifications
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience:
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
•Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

•Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Mathematical Ability:
•Add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10's and 100's.
•Perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

•Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
•Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
