Responsibilities:

Roofing Repairs & Waterproofing:

• Execute expert-level repairs on various types of roofs, including composition shingles, metal, tile, and TPO roofing systems.
• Implement waterproofing details to ensure long-lasting solutions.

Customer Service Excellence:

• Provide outstanding customer service by clearly communicating with clients and addressing their roofing concerns.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive satisfaction and repeat business.

Diagnose & Troubleshoot:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot roof leaks with precision, providing effective repair solutions.
• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the best course of action for each roofing issue.

Technology Use:

• Utilize smartphones and/or computers to document repairs, track inventory, and communicate with the company and customers.
• Assemble photos and compile estimates into the software, ensuring accurate pricing and quantities.

Sales & Quoting:

• Generate and present repair quotes to customers, explaining the scope of work and associated costs.
• Close sales by providing value-driven proposals that meet client needs.
• Follow up with customers to secure approval and ensure satisfaction with the proposed repairs.

Company Van & Tools:

• Operate a company-provided van equipped with necessary tools, inventory, flashings, shingles, and other materials to perform repairs efficiently.

Final Inspection:

• Perform final inspections once the roofing project is completed, document with photos and a checklist.
• Ensure the roof is installed correctly, the site is cleaned up, and the homeowner is satisfied.

Qualifications:

• Expert at roofing repairs/waterproofing details
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of comp shingle, metal, tile, and TPO roofing systems
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot leaks for roofs
• Proficient in using smartphones and/or computers for documentation and communication
• Ability to quote customers a price to make necessary repairs
• Demonstrated success in sales, preferably within construction or a related field
• Valid driver's license

Salary and Benefits:

• Full-Time Non-Exempt
• Compensation: $33-$37/hr commission on sales
• Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance: Available to purchase by all employees
• Retirement Plan: Simple IRA with Scotts Roofing matching up to 3% of employees' yearly pay after 90 days
• Paid Time Off: Accrues at 40 hours per year after 90 days; additional 40 hours after the first year, and 80 hours after two years
• Paid Holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Veterans Day for those who have served our country
• Unpaid Company Holidays: Friday before Memorial Day, Friday before Labor Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve
