Scotts Bluff County is Hiring a Deputy Sheriff Near Scotts, NE

DEPUTY SHERIFF

Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for the position of Deputy Sheriff. Applicants must meet the following requirements: 21 years old by date of appointment, high school graduate or equivalent, good driving record with the ability to obtain a valid Nebraska Driver’s License. Must also pass written, oral, physical fitness and psychological exams, drug screening, and a thorough background investigation. Applicant must sign waiver prior to physical examination. Must be able to pass all entry requirements of the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center Nebraska. Certified Officers in good standing and Officers Certified in another state in good standing may waive the physical fitness requirements.

This position has competitive wages and comes with a complete Benefit Package and Retirement Plan. Position qualifies for Veterans’ Preference. Scotts Bluff County is EOE/AA.
