Scout Motors is Hiring a Finance Analyst Near Tysons, VA

What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts
  • Analyze financial performance and variances, and offer data driven business insight to key stakeholders
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages for management
  • Support strategic planning and decision-making by providing financial analysis and modeling
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on objectives
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis for management
  • Support the maintenance of financial databases, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial information
  • Work closely with leadership to help drive insights around department-specific financial reporting

Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Tysons, VA. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $75,000-$85,000

Internal leveling code: IC10
