We are looking for Part Time teachers!

• Assistant teachers at the center Infant-School Age classrooms
• After School Teachers starting December 2023/January 2024

Our center is located in Bloomington, Illinois. This position is perfect for students from ISU, IWU, and HCC!

Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Special Education, Family Consumer Sciences, and Recreation majors preferred, but all majors are welcome to apply!

To work at the center you MUST have at least 6 college credit hours in Early Childhood or a related field.

Hours of Operations are 7am-5:30pm. You MUST have some sort of availability during this time frame. Our After School Programs run from 2:15-5:30 Monday-Friday. We run programming at 3 different local Elementary Schools, as well as one program on site at our center.

As an After School Assistant Teacher, your duties are to supervise activities for children at the Elementary School level. Your responsibilities will be taking attendance, assisting children with their homework, organizing crafts or athletic activities, implementing STEM into everyday activities, and most importantly providing a safe, fun environment for these children to spend the morning/afternoon.

As an Assistant Teacher your duties are to assist the lead and full time assistant teachers in the classroom and help to provide a safe and loving environment for each child.
