Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Support Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to the sales team, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Responsible for tracking and onboarding new leads, addressing customer concerns, and providing data and feedback to the sales team. Additionally, assist sales partners in project management and lead efforts to ensure the overall goals and objectives of the customers are met by managing expectations and aligning appropriate resources.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supporting customer accounts, following up with customers for administrative purposes, and providing troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses, and other concerns.
Utilize customer portals to update pertinent account information, manage item set-up, submit and review support requests, track key metrics, and access customer guides and reference documents.
Quantify new customer leads and collaborate with logistics and accounting to ensure successful onboarding by collecting all necessary information.
Scheduling customer meetings/conferences, supplying samples, and coordinating product demos.
Required Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
Attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry, record-keeping, and order processing.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools for tracking and managing customer information.
Solid knowledge of sales processes and procedures, including order management and customer service.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with sales analytics tools.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong customer service orientation with a positive and professional demeanor.
