Role Description: A fleet operator is responsible for vehicle deployment, maintenance, and retrieval. This role requires driving throughout the city and transporting vehicles based on various criteria (e.g., charge, physical damage, and location). The primary aim of this role is to organize and coordinate resources, to maximize vehicle availability and revenue.
Primary Duties: Duties include (1) vehicle deployment, maintenance, and retrieval, (2) rebalancing equipment over a certain battery percentage, or located in low foot traffic areas, (3) removing dead batteries from equipment, and replacing them with fully charged batteries, (4) visually inspecting equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations, (5) transporting dead batteries and damaged equipment to the office at the end of each shift, and (6) reporting total work output per shift, and (7) maintaining key performance indicators.
Education: High school diploma is required
Experience: Prior fleet management, ride-share, or delivery-driver experience is required
