Sea Grove Recovery Center is Hiring a HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER Near Mount Pleasant, SC

Responsibilities:
Located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Sea Grove Recovery will provide substance use treatment for adults, as well as dual diagnosis treatment for adults with a co-occurring mental health disorder. The 41-bed facility is in a serene, wooded environment and is designed to maximize healing and meet the needs of every patient who attends treatment. Sea Grove offers a partial hospitalization program (PHP) that takes place for most of the day throughout the week with PHP lodging available. The program allows for those in our care to receive treatments and therapies throughout the day in an environment conducive to healing and a treatment plan built around their individual needs. In addition to the substance use program, Sea Grove Recovery is equipped to provide treatment to those with a substance use disorder and a co-occurring mental health disorder.

Sea Grove Recovery is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for executing Human Resource activities at the facility for all functional areas, (e.g., recruitment, employee relations, compensation, compliance, etc.) and serves as a professional resource for facility management on all HR related activities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience; previous healthcare experience preferred.
  • HR Certification (through HRCI or SHRM) preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, and an understanding of Federal and State employment laws and regulations related to HR.
  • Working knowledge of administering wage/salary programs, benefits, workers compensation, recruiting/retention plans, training/staff development, and employee relations.
  • Requires leadership, organizational, supervisory and administrative abilities including excellent computer skills and knowledge of various software, internet-based HR systems and email.
