Responsibilities

• Handle the timely and accurate payment of employees’ wages, reimbursements, benefit deductions, including reconciliation of 401K, payroll taxes, etc.
• Bridge the gap between Human Resources and Finance/Accounting and maintain accurate records for payroll reporting and reconciliation.
• Calculate invoices/billing and identify and correct errors/inconsistencies to ensure accurate billing and invoicing
• Manage and review customer accounts and balances, identify invoice inconsistencies, and handle all discrepancies
• Manage and maintain a comprehensive record of accurate and complete client accounts and outstanding balances

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in a billing or payroll position
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• Experience with all aspects of payroll, including the DoL Wage Determinations/Service Contract Act and Union/CBA payroll requirements
• Exceptional organization and time management skills, with a good eye for detail
• Experience using UKG (formerly Ultipro) for payroll processing preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
• Good prioritization skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
