JOB SUMMARY :

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS), you are a partner for our candidates and teammates throughout the organization.

In this role, you will utilize your knowledge of Seacoast’s business objectives, relationships within the organization, strong sourcing and recruiting skills, and candidate market intelligence to attract top talent to Seacoast.

Understanding the value of strong relationships, you will seek to provide the best candidate and hiring manager experiences to your internal and external customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Act as a business partner to hiring managers and executives by gaining an understanding of our Seacoast Bank’s core business, strategic objectives, and culture.
  • Utilize strong relationships with hiring managers, executives, and candidates to exert influence.
  • Provide full lifecycle recruiting to include preparation, sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and managing candidate relationships while advising hiring managers throughout the selection process.
  • Develop and executes recruiting plans leveraging industry best practices, market intelligence.
  • Responsible for the onboarding of associates to include background checks, drug screens, pre-hire assessments, and I-9 verifications.
  • Successfully source and attract passive candidates utilizing a strong understanding of current sourcing methodologies.
  • Acts as a brand ambassador for Seacoast at networking events, campus job fairs, and in the community.
  • Maintain up-to-date pipeline for in-demand skill sets. This includes new candidate identification and ongoing candidate relationship building.
  • Drive initial consultations with hiring managers to establish position requirements and search strategy.
  • Leads the design and delivery of recruitment marketing activities that promote employer brand awareness.
  • Provide coaching and general guidance to hiring managers on interview and recruitment best practices.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews and on-site visits as needed.
  • Maintains up-to-date records of recruiting activities via Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • May help facilitate orientation sessions for new hires.
  • Adhere to Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting (sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, relationship management, offer negotiations) preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for complex roles preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in recruiting for roles varying in complexity and scope.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers to deliver an outstanding experience.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
  • Business acumen to analyze business priorities and translate them into actionable recruiting strategies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and expertise in competency-based interviews.
  • Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to source, track, and manage candidates.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple searches simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in utilizing multiple candidate databases, search engines, and social media to source qualified talent.
  • Possess excellent detail orientation and time management skills.
  • Expert level offers negotiation skills.
