Van Driver
Full-Time Position schedule / hours vary!!!
Monday -Friday with a LOT of flexibility needed!
A clean Driving Record is REQUIRED
The Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting clients to planned activities and medical service providers.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
1. Provides a safe, clean environment for residents by Resident Care Policies and Procedures.
2. Drives company-owned vehicles to transport residents to appointments or activities.
3. Test vehicle equipment such as lights, brakes, horns, and windshield wipers to verify proper, legal
operation.
4. Notifies the Supervisor of any necessary repairs or mechanical problems promptly.
6. Verifies that the Facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
7. Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis as well as a calm
environment for the residents during transport.
8. Completes and maintains accurate accident and incident reports in a professional and timely manner.
A.D.A. REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, walk and stand.
Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate vehicle and all equipment and machinery associated with the
vehicle.
Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
Must be free from communicable diseases that pose a "direct threat" to the health or safety of others and which
cannot be eliminated by reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50
