Seaford Salvage LLC is a powersports salvage company that specializes in selling quality ATV, Motorcycle, UTV, Jet ski and other vehicle used parts. This position is for a driver to pick up these units from various locations and deliver them back to the shop. Examples being
-Insurance auctions Copart and IAA
-Tow lots
-Dealerships
-Private sellers lined up by the company
Must be able to provide a clean driving record at interview. These can be obtained from your local DMV.
There will be times when you will be required to tow a 14ft trailer and even up to a 22ft trailer which will be provided. We will supply the truck which is a later model Ford F150. Most pickup locations have equipment to load the wrecked vehicles, and when you return, we have a unloading crew who will use equipment to unload. There will be times when there is required heavy lifting and moving to arrange bikes to get everything in one load.
This position will require some long days but will be flexible other days as there may not be much to pick up. On the days when the transportation is light there will always be an opportunity to help the rest of the team perform their daily tasks to reach goals. If there are not 40 hours of transportation in that week, we will give you hours in the shop. Wintertime being our slower time.
-Must have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record. Background checks and driving record will be checked prior to being hired.
-Experience towing trailers with weight is required
