Brand Overview: Seak is an MIT-based startup bringing exceptional suppliers from Southeast Asia to sell wholesale in the US, focusing on lifestyle and fashion categories. Job Summary: We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable helpers based in New York to assist us at the New York NOW Trade Show this August. As a Trade Show Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our booth runs smoothly and professionally. This temporary position involves helping with booth setup, engaging with attendees, taking orders, and providing general assistance throughout the event.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of the booth, including arranging products and promotional materials.
• Greet and engage with visitors, providing them with information about our brands and products.
• Take down contact information and relevant details about booth visitors.
• Take and process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized booth environment.
• Assist in inventory management and restocking products as needed.
• Provide support in any additional tasks as required by the booth manager.

Requirements:

• Undergrads are welcome.
• Must be based in New York for the duration of the event.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for customer service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks related to booth setup.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is a plus.
• Knowledge or interest in fashion and lifestyle products is desirable.

Schedule:

• August 4-6: Full days
• August 7: Half day
• Additional half-day orientation prior to the event
