Job Summary
- Operate radiology equipment under the direction of a physician.
- Explain the process and position patient for scan.
- Move and adjust equipment to set exposure factors.
- Review and evaluate film and images to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain records.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma Required
Licensed through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Customer Service Skills
- Organizational skills
Preferences*
- Experience in a primary care office preferred
