Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Administrator II Generalist, to join our team in Suitland, MD.
CLEARANCE
- Active TS/SCI (existing clearance required to start)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
- Suitland, MD (onsite)
- Provide O&M support including installation, configuration, securing and hardening, testing, sustainment, upgrading, remediation, and decommissioning for IT cross domain solutions (CDS) allowing access to Multiple Independent Levels of Security (MILS) and Operational Domains from a single workstation.
- Administer both Microsoft Windows and Linux-based platforms.
- Work alongside IT O&M Server team to provide O&M support to server-based solutions across various technology vendors such as Citrix, Esri, McAfee, Microsoft, Red Hat, and SolarWinds.
- Provide mid-level internal escalation support for Server O&M team, troubleshooting and remediation in the CDS domain, extending to both Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) platforms.
- Collaborate with Senior Systems Administrator, Network Engineer, and IT team to ensure CDS-based networking devices and components are optimally configured and maintained for secure operations.
- Contribute to documentation for system solutions, subsystems, and components, including as-built documentation, performance plans, processes, workflows, run books, and server system life-cycle planning.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with O&M support of enterprise server operating systems (Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and multi-platform information systems.
- 3 years of experience with Multi-Level Security (MLS) or CDS implementations, integrations, accreditations, and operations.
- 3 years of experience with Linux-based platforms, specifically RHEL 6 or 7 preferred.
- 3 years of experience in secure processing environments adhering to U.S. Government Information Assurance and Security standards (e.g., DISA SRGs, STIGs).
- Strong understanding of core IT networking protocols (SSH, SCP, FTP, SSL, VPN, SNMP, etc.).
- Experience in helpdesk coverage.
- Must meet minimum credential requirements for Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF).
- Certifications: CompTIA Security ce, or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).
- GIAC or GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator (GCWN) certification.
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, MCSA: Windows 10, or MCSA: Windows Server 2016 certifications.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 enterprise desktop offerings within virtual and CDS implementations.
- Experience with scripted technologies (PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Python) for O&M tasks.
- Experience with hardware and software system validation and testing for CDS Authorization and Accreditation.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and critical thinking for IT challenges.
- Knowledge of enterprise-grade IT solutions, including networking, storage, virtualization, servers, and services.
- Experience with Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances (ASAs), Microsoft server-based applications and services (Exchange, IIS, SQL, SharePoint, AD, DNS).
- Experience with Red Hat Satellite, Security Enhanced Linux (SELinux), McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, SolarWinds Orion Platform, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) implementations.
- Familiarity with IT networking technologies and traffic analysis.
