Scope of PositionThis position is responsible for the support of sales activity by quickly and efficiently cleaning and preparing rooms for resale to newly arriving guests. By consistently delivering personalized service that includes clean and fresh accommodation and “the unexpected” in service. The position reports to the floor supervisor responsible for the floor. Schedule RequirementsThis position will typically cover weekends and some holidays as business dictates. Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for practicing, managing and promoting our Mission and Values so that it becomes an intricate part of the everyday operation.Completes any duties or projects assigned by the Management.Maintain a specified quota of rooms (15) on a daily basis, meeting the housekeeping standards of cleanliness and skills base training.Perform regular general cleaning as directed and scheduled.Manage and maintain linen product and standards with laundry to meet daily requirements.Report all work area difficulty to your supervisor or manager.Perform additional duties as assigned.Complete any and all projects as necessary to run the operation outlined above.Guest interactions and communication.Create and support a work environment that is consistent with the Mission and Values of Seaport.Required Job Knowledge and SkillsCommitted to delivering a high level of customer serviceExcellent grooming standardsAbility to work under pressureAbility to work on their ownPositive attitudeGood communication skillsPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.Requires pushing, pulling and bending.
