SeaQuest is looking for a Safari Team Member who will enhance the guest experience by creating a warm, inviting, and world-class environment throughout the facility. We are seeking team members with a passion for key performance indicators, sales-driven results, and significant commission opportunities. With proven sales experience, this position has the potential for bonus pay that's equal to or greater than the hourly pay rate. Safari Team Members are responsible for assisting guests and reporting directly to the Safari Team Manager. Responsibilities:

• Clean facility (i.e. mop, sweep, paint, dust, clean bathrooms, and change HVAC filters)
• Build new exhibits and enhance current exhibits (woodworking, painting, mounting, life support systems, etc.)
• Contact various 3rd party vendors/contractors when necessary and price out/coordinate work to be done.

• Handyman skills (i.e. familiar with power tools, measuring and cutting materials, basic electrical knowledge a plus)
• Theme park, zoo, science center, or attraction background a plus
• Ability to problem solve and come up with solutions
• Strong mental and emotional balance and health required for fast paced high energy demands
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively
• Cheerful, positive attitude with a willingness to be a team player
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Reliable transportation to work
• May be required to work with animals

Education:

• Degree in related field is preferred but not necessary

Schedule:

• Part-Time
• Weekends
