Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Client's company as a full-time, ditect-hire team member reporting to headquarters in Vernon, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, accounts payable, and payroll processes. This position offers the opportunity to work with various accounting software and contribute to the financial operations of the organization.

Duties:

- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely

- Verify approvals on all invoices and check requests

- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments

- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions

- Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable

- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role

- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Paychex, or Kronos, or others

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
