Search Solution Group is Hiring a Plant Human Resources Manager Near Erie, PA

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Plant Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources functions at our facility. The Plant HR Manager will play a critical role in driving employee engagement, talent development, and HR initiatives aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance, coaching, and conflict resolution support to employees and managers.
  2. Lead recruitment efforts for the plant, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires to meet staffing needs while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  3. Implement and manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning, to drive employee performance and accountability.
  4. Identify training needs and coordinate employee development initiatives, including training programs, workshops, and skill-building activities to enhance employee capabilities and career growth opportunities.
  5. Administer compensation and benefits programs for plant employees, ensuring competitiveness, fairness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and programs to foster a positive work culture, improve morale, and enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  7. Collaborate with plant leadership and safety teams to promote a safe work environment, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and address safety concerns or incidents as needed.
  8. Interpret and enforce company HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards while maintaining confidentiality and integrity in HR practices.
  9. Maintain accurate HR records and data, including employee information, payroll records, and HR metrics, to support reporting, analysis, and decision-making processes.
  10. Support organizational change initiatives, including restructurings, mergers, and acquisitions, by providing HR expertise, guidance, and support to employees and leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
  • Progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office applications.
