Quality Specialist (Remote) *Leading International Chemical Distribution Company Suwanee, GA* Our global chemical distribution company is expanding again and looking to add a Quality Specialist to our team.

This is a remote role, but candidates should reside within a commutable distance of Atlanta for occasional in-office meetings.

We offer a highly competitive benefits package, including : Health, dental, and vision insurance Company-funded HSA account Generous vacation and holiday schedule Performance-based bonus program 401(k) match and profit-sharing plan Job Title : Quality Specialist The Quality Specialist will play a key role in maintaining our Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring data accuracy across various platforms.

This position is responsible for supporting process development, documentation, training, and continuous improvement in quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Maintain the QMS and ACD, ensuring accurate documentation handling and retention. Establish guidelines for document storage and archiving, collaborating with internal teams to uphold systems, and ensuring compliance with ACD Guiding Principles and Responsible Distribution.

Maintain and update work instructions, forms, and company templates. Make recommendations for process improvements based on quality incidents and oversee necessary updates.

Conduct training sessions to implement changes. Oversee annual ISO and ACD audits and certifications. Complete and maintain required individual certifications for ISO and ACD while ensuring that the company adheres to organizational certification standards.

Prepare employees for audit interviews through coaching. Collaborate with Operations Account Managers on the non-conformance process, reviewing QOTs and CARs, investigating issues, and making recommendations for resolution.

Provide KPI data and updates on QOTs and CARs for monthly management meetings. Attend management meetings to report on relevant quality metrics.

Coordinate required compliance training, including DOT, IATA, and IMDG, and maintain internal training records. Provide feedback on quality and ACD issues to managers for dissemination to employees.

Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (engineering, manufacturing, chemistry) or business preferred 5 years of experience in quality management or process engineering preferred Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered Experience with chemical manufacturing processes and / or warehouse management processes strongly preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up abilities Results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Excellent oral and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences Team player with the ability to collaborate and build rapport with colleagues at all levels, both internally and externally Ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint and Excel, as well as industry-specific software, with the ability to work across multiple platforms Training ISO Lead Auditor Training complete coursework and maintain certification ACD Training complete coursework and maintain certification Powered by JazzHR
