Searcy Eye Care & Vision Therapy Center is Hiring an Optometric Technician Near Searcy, AR

The Eye Care technician is responsible for performing an assortment of preliminary tests to gain information about the patient before the doctor sees them. They will also perform contact lens fittings. Employee must have excellent communication skills as we communicate with other doctors, pharmacies, and patients.

A good candidate for this position must:

MUST LOVE CHILDREN!!

Be able to move/work in a fast pace manner

Must have patience

Must be Compassionate

Have multi-tasking skills

Have great "bed side manner"

Be a fast learner

Must be able to perform an assortment of diagnostic testing in close proximity with patients

Must have great personal hygiene

Be proficient on computer, electronic medical record systems, excel, other Microsoft office programs

Conduct themselves in a professional manner

Be okay with touching the patient's eye

Have at least high-school diploma

Health Care experience is required

Have good phone/communication skills

Must be able to fill in at our Jacksonville practice as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.50 - $14.00 per hour
