**Overview:**

We are seeking a dynamic Farmers' Market Associate to join our team. As a Farmers' Market Associate, you will play a crucial role in representing our farm, Seas Greens, driving sales, and providing exceptional customer service at farmers' markets.

**Responsibilities:**

- Pickup and drop off Seas Greens microgreens and all necessary materials for the farmers' market from our urban farm in Vista.

- Transport, set up, and break down the booth at the farmers' market.

- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, promoting Seas Greens products effectively.

- Provide premium sales service to all customers in a timely manner

- Communicate product knowledge, ensuring accurate signs and appealing displays.

- Maintain a clean and organized booth space.

- Account for all sales transactions, accurately recording returns, and noting any reasons for discrepancies.

- Respectfully and professionally interface with farmers' market managers and other vendors.

**Skills:**

- Passion for healthy food, farming, or the farmer's market community with a desire to learn about Seas Greens microgreens.

- Ability to operate professionally and positively in a sales representative position.

- Effective communication skills and ability to promote Seas Greens to customers fluidly and accurately.

- Enthusiasm, punctuality, good attitude, and ability to work autonomously.

- Strong organizational skills and experience in retail sales.

- Ability to sell and upsell products.

- Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems for transactions.

- Knowledge of retail math principles.

**Requirements:**

- Must be available to work weekends. Weekday availability is a bonus.

- Must be available on the following dates: June 29, 30; July 6, 7, 10, 13, 14; August 3, 4.

- Must have your own mid-size vehicle to take to the market.

- Must live within 15 minutes of Vista.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.88 - $21.03 per hour
