Seasoned Recruitment is Hiring an Occupational Therapist - Long Term Care (LTC) Near Jacksonville, TX

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide exceptional care and support to our long-term care residents. As an Occupational Therapist in a long-term care setting, you will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic activities to help residents maintain or regain their independence in activities of daily living.
Responsibilities
  • Perform evaluations and assessments to determine residents' functional abilities and limitations.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to address residents' physical and mental well-being.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve residents' mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
  • Educate residents and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to facilitate independent living.
Requirements
  • Valid state Occupational Therapy license.
  • Proven experience working in a long-term care or geriatric setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassion and empathy for the elderly population.
