Seasoned Recruitment is Hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist ICU Near Plano, TX
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist with a focus on ICU in Plano, TX at a Level II Trauma facility. In this role, you will provide specialized respiratory care to critically ill patients in our intensive care unit. Responsibilities:
Assess patients' respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions in the ICU
Administer complex respiratory therapies and treatments
Monitor patients' vital signs and make appropriate adjustments to therapy as needed
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Insert and manage artificial airways
Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analyses
Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately and thoroughly
Respond to emergency situations and provide life support as necessary

Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in an ICU setting
Excellent knowledge of respiratory care techniques and equipment
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
