In this pivotal leadership role, you will have the chance to leverage your technical tax, analytical, operational, management, and client service skills, particularly with real estate clients.
As a trusted advisor, you will demonstrate a deep understanding of industry trends, effectively identify and address client issues, and proactively communicate solutions to both clients and our team. Your responsibilities will include managing compliance and consulting in critical areas such as Section 1031 exchange, Section 754 step-up, Section 163(j) interest limitation, and Section 1231 gain/loss calculations, in addition to analyzing and implementing tax applications within partnership/LLC operating agreements.
Your impact will extend to understanding and directly servicing our clients' goals, owning client relationships, and collaborating with Managing Directors to strategize planning. By providing clients with valuable recommendations and identifying growth opportunities, your role will be integral in enhancing our clients' success.
You will also play a key role in researching tax and accounting issues, providing guidance to clients, and mentoring and coaching staff. By fostering a supportive team environment and demonstrating alignment with management decisions, you will contribute to building a positive culture within our organization.
To thrive in this role, you will ideally possess a Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field, along with a Bachelor's degree. A minimum of seven years' experience in public accounting or a related field, including five years in a supervisory capacity, is strongly preferred. Furthermore, the ability to effectively manage deadlines, multitask, and communicate clearly at all organizational levels, both internally and externally, is essential. Proficiency in utilizing relevant technology and a willingness to travel based on business needs are also indispensable.
