Job Summary:

The primary purpose of the position is to provide quality veterinary medical care to our clients while working in a team environment to ensure that all staff members are aware of the process and tasks needed to provide quality care. The Veterinary Receptionist will also be responsible for answering phones, receiving text messages, processing faxes, cataloging previous Veterinary medical records for new clients, greeting clients as they walk in the door, scheduling appointments, cleaning the front desk/lobby area, and other tasks associated with being a receptionist in a healthcare setting. Open availability Monday-Saturday is a requirement of this position. The goal is that all team members only work one Saturday per month, though sometimes that is not possible due to sickness, vacation time, etc.

The ideal candidate will hold themselves to a very high standard, that will match the elevated standard of patient care that we offer to clients at Seatown. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written will be required for this position. We use IDEXX Neo as our in-house practice management software and will be transitioning to Covetrus Pulse soon. All members of the team must utilize excellent time management skills while showing empathy, kindness, and compassion towards our clients, patients, and team members. We look forward to meeting you!
