Seattle Childrens Hospital is Hiring a Pediatric Cardiologist - Alaska Near Alaska Locations, AK

Seattle Children's is excited to announce a great opportunity for a Pediatric Cardiologist to join our Alaska-based practice. For more than 25 years, our team (providers, RNs, sonographers, and administrative staff) have lived and worked in the state, providing high-quality care, positive patient experiences, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion for all Alaskans. The two-provider practice is based in Anchorage with same-day or overnight travel to our nine different outreach sites throughout the state. Our providers are part of the Heart Centers multidisciplinary team of clinicians with around-the-clock access to Children's specialties from prenatal consultation to cardiac care for young adults. The regional cardiology position in Alaska is a very unique opportunity to have the independence and community impact of a community pediatric cardiologist while also benefiting from the support and resources of large academic center in Seattle Children's Hospital. This is a highly variable practice with opportunities for community outreach, fetal cardiology, and exploration by travel to satellite clinics throughout the state. This is a full-time position. #LI-GH1 Compensation: $424,634-$472,496 annually. Required Education/Experience: - MD Degree. - Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children's and other sites as applicable. Required Credentials: - Licensed as a Physician in the State of Alaska. - Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics and/or specialty as applicable. - Federal DEA Registration. - Prior to start of employment, must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment. - All medical and allied health professional staff members are provisional for the first year. - Any and all medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children's will terminate automatically upon the termination of the individual's employment at Children's. - Termination of employment does not prohibit the individual from seeking medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children's as a non-employee in any category for which the individual qualifies. - Questions regarding medical or allied health professional staff privileges may be directed to Medical Staff Services. Preferred: - N/A. Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
