Position Summary
Seattle Colleges District is looking to hire a Human Resources Generalist (Human Resources Consultant 3) to support the HR department at South Seattle College campus.
Salary Range for this position is $69,312.00 to $86,640.00 annually, depending on experience.

Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Generalist will serve as a senior level human resources consultant and advisor to various stakeholders at South Seattle College. The Human Resources Generalist serves our students, faculty, management, and employees with the responsibility of onboarding new staff and volunteers and supporting reasonable accommodation, compensation, and classification requests.
As a customer service focused professional, the Human Resources Generalist supports all members of the Colleges' community in their accountability to College and District policies and procedures. The Human Resources Generalist may coordinate HR related projects and initiatives in support of HR strategic goals. The Human Resources Generalist is a member of the District-wide HR team and will collaborate with other HR team members to create and maintain departmental cohesion across the district.
This position consults with and assists managers, staff and the public regarding inquiries and service requests, provides information to clients, and explains policies, rules, and regulations applicable to Human Resources. This position is responsible for the accuracy of personnel records in multiple systems and proactively resolving issues within established guidelines regarding human resources processes and procedures.
This position¿s work modality is currently hybrid with minimum two days/week on campus. Modality expectations of this role are not static and may change as department, division or campus needs shift. Telecommute agreements are subject to supervisor authorization.
This position is governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement with representation by WFSE and subject to union shop provisions.
