Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this role is to perform machine set up, troubleshoot machine issues, and run an assigned machine. While operating equipment the operator will put an emphasis on productivity, quality, safety, and good housekeeping.

Work hours: 2nd shift,Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm (8 hours) and eligible for $3.00 shift differential

Principal Accountabilities:

• Set up make ready and operate equipment
• Perform quality checks and stack finished product
• Record production data with accuracy
• Perform simple machine set ups and operate UV Coater, Laminator, Drill
• Assist Folder operators by tending jobs
• Keen attention to detail.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor mechanic maintenance.
• Runs equipment at optimal level at all times to meet daily production goals (OEE and OTD)
• Maintains work area and tools
• Adheres to work quality standard, standard of work and safety standards
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Work Location: Must be able to work on-site at the Green Bay facility temporarily and transfer to work in the Town of Lawrence (near De Pere, WI) permanently in winter 2023.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Manufacturing environment experience preferred or prior bindery experience preferred, but not required
• 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

• Interpret and follow directions with precision
• Computer skills for job detail input and machine operation
• Excellent collaborative skills

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
