Sebring International Raceway, LLC is Hiring a Guest Services Event Supervisor Near Sebring, FL

SEBRING INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY This race track located in Sebring, Florida, is America’s oldest road racing track, with over six decades of storied history. It hosts the historic Twelve Hours of Sebring each year on the third Saturday of March on the 3.74-mile road course. The Twelve Hours of Sebring is one of the four endurance races on the IMSA schedule. Summary: Guest Services Event Supervisor personnel that can work primarily during Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring event week, and possibly at other events during the year. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: may include the following. Other duties may be assigned; Oversee Guest Services staff in a specific section of the property Scan each Guest’s ticket for valid access into the facility; Properly check each competitor credential for valid access into the facility; Check vehicles for valid access into the facility at corresponding vehicle entry points; Assist Guests with accurate directions, event information and any other assistance on property; Properly check staff with their credentials; Assist guests with Lost & Found; All other duties assigned. Qualifications Strong communication skills; Customer service experience; Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions; Ability to stand for long periods of time in excess of 8 hours at a time; Positive attitude; Valid Driver’s License (does not apply to all positions); Common sense, good judgment and the ability to think logically; Reliability and punctuality. If you commit to a date, be there and on time; Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting; Occasionally lifting objects upwards of 50 lbs ; Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as assigned; Ability to work in a fast-paced & high stress environment; Must learn quickly and be trainable. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Other Skills and Abilities Must be available to work long hours and weekends during 12 Hour race event in March and throughout the year.
