Position Description

Our team is seeking an Audio Visual Engineer to support an IT Service Management effort supporting U.S. Transportation Command at Scott Air Force Base. In this role, you will provide Audio Visual expertise to the Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and Audiovisual team providing all facets of customer service including maintaining, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting of video conference and briefing support facilities.

Responsibilities

• Extensive Cisco LAN/WAN design and implementation experience
• Technical subject matter expertise in the planning and execution of IT solutions to support customer requirements
• Demonstrate an understanding of how to configure and troubleshoot Voice and VTC networks
• Experience with Cisco IM and Presence and Cisco Jabber
• Demonstrated experience with: major audio/visual installs and configurations
• Experience with Crestron Programing
• Experience with Solarwinds applications for network monitoring and management network devices
• Configure and troubleshoot protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, SIP, H.323, SAF
• Experience with U.S. Department of Defense security requirements, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with others to isolate and resolve complex network problems

Requirements

Education and Experience: 

• BA/BS and 10 or more years of experience
• Must have at least one of these IAT Level II certifications: Security CE, CCNA-Security, CySA **, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP 
• Must have at least one Computing Environment (CE) certification or certificate for the technical area of responsibility for Network support/defense (e.g., Splunk, Cisco, McAfee, etc.) or ability to obtain one
• Experience of relevant AV/VTC experience.
• Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, IM and Presence, Cisco Unity Connection, Jabber
• Comprehensive experience with Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE)
• Experience with SIP trunks
• Able to apply configuration standards for DOD IA and IA-enabled devices/systems consistent with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
