JOB TITLE: Campaign Manager 

DEPARTMENT: Development 

LED BY: Senior Director of Campaign and Leadership Giving 

SALARY: Starting at $75,000 - 85,000 Annually

FSLA STATUS: Exempt  

HOURS: Full-Time, 40 hours/week 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Hybrid, 2-3 Days/Wk in Office

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Development Campaign Manager will work closely with the Senior Director of Campaign and Leadership Giving to execute the Make Hunger History fundraising campaign. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting the organization's mission. The Campaign Manager will ensure the success with various campaign tasks; including but not limited to; proposal support, task force management, data management, event planning, and campaign donor engagement and stewardship. This role requires a combination of supporting the campaign, as well as independent judgment and discretion to lead on donor-facing activities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Senior Director of Campaign and Leadership Giving to execute campaign strategy
  • Participate in all meetings with campaign counsel
  • Provide support for donor visits
  • Lead on campaign timelines, phase roll outs
  • Campaign Task Force management with Senior Director of Campaign and Leadership Giving
  • Prepare campaign information and develop data and analytics as needed for proposals and materials
  • Create agendas, slides, and talking points for donor meetings in coordination with campaign counsel
  • Manage proposal requirements with Senior Grant Officer
  • Opportunity management and oversight with monthly review and update in partnership with Senior Director of Campaign and Leadership Giving, Director of Individual Giving, and Prospect Researcher
  • Manage campaign document library
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, pledges, gala sponsorships, and the like in partnership with Development Operations
  • Plan, track, and implement stewardship with Interim Chief Development Officer, Senior Director of Campaign and Leadership Giving, and others on the Development team
  • Prepare board meeting-specific campaign reports, agendas, and slides
  • Organize and facilitate campaign events, including logistics, volunteer management, and on-site support.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS 

  • All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.
  • Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone is welcomed and valued.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with Microsoft Office, Office 365, and the ability to learn other computer software programs.
  • Ability to work with flexibility, efficiency, and enthusiasm, both individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, manage and follow through on multiple daily tasks and projects.
  • Strong donor stewardship or client services background and skill set.
  • CRM familiarity required. 
  • Financial acumen with the ability to understand and develop budgets used for securing corporate and foundation funding. 
  • Valid MN driver’s license and a good driving record along with dependable transportation.
