About The RoleWe are seeking a DealCloud CRM System Administrator to join our team. The DealCloud Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System Administrator will be responsible for managing and customizing the CRM platform to meet the company’s needs, ensuring optimal performance, data integrity, and security of the CRM data base system. This professional will support Managing Directors and members of the Operations and Marketing/Business Development teams. Responsibilities
Serve as the company’s central resource responsible for successful maintenance of DealCloud CRM data and analysis, including to provide system administration support, administer user permissions, and develop custom objects, reporting, and workflows
Update CRM data as necessary to integrate client and company data for new Managing Directors join the company
Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users, including assisting with dashboards and system related user questions/troubleshooting
Define and maintain database design and system rules with focus on deep understanding of data integrity and the normalization of data within the CRM system, and review and update data integrity policies, as needed
Routinely monitor and audit system data changes and review and analyze audit logs and reports to identify anomalies, errors, or violation of data integrity rules
Routinely perform data validation and cleansing to detect and correct system data errors or inconsistencies using manual inspection, automated scripts, or third-party tools for data standardization, normalization, deduplication, or enrichment
Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, record types, page layouts, reports, and dashboards
Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
Collaborate with the Operations and Marketing/Business Development teams to coordinate and support CRM integrations with other relevant systems, third-party apps/add-ons, plug-ins, and email marketing tools.
Maintain familiarity with the capabilities, limitations, and best practices related to the CRM systems and factor them into day-to-day activities of the company
Perform email address extraction from online sources for contact data management and validation and assist with importing and onboarding new contacts
Requirements
2 years’ experience implementing and customizing DealCloud to fit the needs of various Operations and Business Development/Marketing teams in a legal or professional services firm
Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
Ability to administer and configure a CRM system (custom objects, workflows, permissions, integrations, etc.)
Familiarity with automating business processes, creating reports/dashboards, and data analysis/modeling
Familiarity with automated tools used to extract email addresses from online sources for contact data management and validation
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
DealCloud.com certification, experience with SOQL/Workbench, or familiarity with integrated marketing/automation tools such as Dispatch, MailChimp, Outreach, Hubspot, or Netsuite preferred
Practical knowledge of how to create, implement and support Object creation, Reporting tools and email marketing tools including, Dispatch, MailChimp, Outreach, Hubspot or Netsuite
Ability to participate in multiple high priority projects and initiatives simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written business communication skills, with demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and make sound decisions while maintaining a customer service-oriented manner
Ability to apply critical thinking in evaluating different conflicts scenarios or outcomes, and be adaptable to changes in the procedures or direction
Ability to identify data integrity issues and timely resolve them appropriately
