SecTek is Hiring an Armed Security Officer (BETH EL) FT Near Bethesda, MD

Armed Security Officer (BETH EL) FT

Position Responsibilities

Our Officers are responsible for providing quality physical security at the client site. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Following prescribed Standard Operating Procedures for basic and emergency responses
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Liaising with security and building management to communicate, escalate, and solve problems.
  • Creating detailed reports on building activity
  • Patrolling the interior and exterior of the contract site
  • Performing duties in accordance with Post Orders
  • Controlling/restricting access to the property
  • Responding to major occurrences with intelligence, speed and accuracy

This client location requires all individuals working on site to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

HR will be asking for proof of vaccination status prior to starting on the contract.

Qualifications

  • Only applicants who have an active DC Armed SPO license will be considered. If you do not have a DC Armed SPO license, please do not apply.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have at least 3 years of relevant security experience
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Pay: $30.00
