SECU is Hiring a Leadership Program Manager Near Raleigh, NC
If you are motivated and believe in the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People," join our team!State Employees' Credit Union's (SECU) newly formed Leadership Development function plays a vital role in bringing leadership development opportunities to staff at all levels. These programs have as their goal to create an environment at SECU that empowers people to do their best work, embrace the best opportunities, and propel the success of SECU.
The Leadership Program Director works closely with the Senior Vice President of Leadership Development and will manage complex requirements for a variety of stakeholders. This position provides the support necessary to manage internal staff, interfaces with vendors, community supporters, and other program partners. The Leadership Program Director monitors pilot programs for engagement and provides recommendations for course or development program improvements.
Essential Functions:Manage key relationships and correspond with internal stakeholders, external vendors, leader champions, and community partners.
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of a variety of educational program offerings, facilitating virtual and in-person development opportunities for staff.
Provide leadership in the planning and coordination of educational program offerings.
Assist with creating, updating, and maintaining schedules and material requirements for overall leadership program and project activities.
Recommend and implement modifications to operations and/or program content to improve effectiveness and use of resources.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and analysis of program reports.
Experience and Education:Bachelor’s degree within a related field of study: Program Administration, Project/Program Management, Academic Instruction/Counseling, Leadership/Organizational Development, Human Resources, Corporate Event Planning or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Work requires a minimum of three years of experience, acquiring the skills necessary to plan, coordinate, and implement a variety of professional development programs and leadership events.
Three to five years of experience leading a team and strong competency in teaching/facilitating leadership and soft/professional skills content.
Currently holds or is willing to obtain any necessary certifications related to delivery in our core focus areas (i.e. Center for Creative Leadership)
Ability to collaborate and build relationships that contribute to the overall success and positive image of the Leadership Development function at SECU.
Support the overall strategic objectives of Leadership Development and the Learning & Organizational Development department by proactively contributing innovative ideas and applying unique approaches to delivery challenges.
Ability to succeed and establish partner relationships in a hybrid environment, traveling to various training locations up to 20%.
Must live in or within manageable commuting distance to Raleigh or Greensboro, North Carolina.
Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills:Demonstrated end to end delivery experience from class administration, communications, live and virtual facilitation to analytics for improvement is strongly preferred.
Proficient with Project Management software, with the ability to visually map out delivery plans and execution requirements for leadership programs.
Proficiency with MS Office and experience designing presentation decks in PowerPoint and preparing analytical reports in Excel.
