Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Accountant at Secured Management Corp. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing quarter-end financial statements and workpapers, and reviewing reconciliations. They will also provide guidance to junior accounting staff. Some remote work is offered, but the majority of the role will be located in El Segundo, CA.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience in workpaper preparation and reconciliations
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPA certification not required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Real estate fund accounting experience preferred
