Securing Resources For Consumers Inc is Hiring a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Group Facilitator Near Durham, NC

Securing Resources for Consumers Inc. has been serving individuals in the Durham area since 2006. Since our founding, we have consistently supported individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses living in their homes with their families, or in other group homes and placements.

Our company is continually evolving to meet the demands and challenges faced by the individuals supported by our company.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Psychosocial Rehbailitation Group Facilitator.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide group treatment to clients with co-occurring disorders by engaging them in activities that focus on the development of skills to be used by individuals in their living, learning, social and working environments; social, problem solving and coping skill development; Illness and medication self-management; Prevocational skills and Recreational activities and/or leisure skills which support a goal on the IRP and improve rehabilitation skills necessary for recovery.
  • Complete documentation according to SRFC, Inc. and the payer source’s acceptable standards policies.
  • Participate in supervision, department, agency wide and other meetings, trainings, and development opportunities as determined appropriate by supervisors;
  • Participation in the development and updating of Person Centered Plans.
  • Notify the company in regard to problems that may arise in service Delivery. This includes clinical concerns, scheduling problems, and client/family unwillingness or inability to participate in program.
  • Adherence to all agency policies including ethics, service regulations, and professional practices.
  • Attend all trainings as required for the position
  • Commitment and implementation of accountability process as defined by SRFC, Inc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education:

High School Diploma

Experience:

2 years experience in mental health/substance abuse field; Experience with Medicaid programs desired.

Criminal Background Check is a Requirement of Employment

License Certification:

Active Peer Support Specialist

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
